keyword search question

If i use a text file of keywords how does it work exactly with multiple words? It switches from one keyword to the next after a certain amount of time? If i set it to search for an hour and i have 6 keywords does it switch every 10 minutes to the next keyword?

Also do i  separate them just on different lines or commas in the file?
